Kate leads Dominion Bronze’s strategy, investment sourcing, and partnerships with management teams, drawing on more than a decade of experience founding, scaling, and exiting privately held businesses in regulated sectors.
Prior to co-founding Dominion Bronze, Kate served as CEO of a venture-backed diagnostics company, where she built and led a cross-border team, raised meaningful private and non-dilutive capital, and developed a global go-to-market strategy across North America, Europe, and Australia. Earlier in her career, she co-founded and successfully exited two regulated retail businesses and was a founding shareholder and director of a legal technology company that achieved a strategic sale.
Kate began her business career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising financial services and retail clients on strategy, operations, and organizational design. After law school she articled at a large Bay Street law firm, and clerked for Justice Abella at the Supreme Court of Canada. Kate holds a J.D. from the University of Manitoba and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University.

Chris is a founding Partner at Dominion Bronze, where he oversees firm-wide finance and operations, and plays a key role in capital allocation and risk management. He brings deep experience across public and private markets, with a focus on disciplined value investing and building durable, cash-generative businesses.
Before co-founding Dominion Bronze, Chris was a Portfolio Manager and Chief Compliance Officer at a Toronto-based investment management firm serving high net worth families, where he led research and portfolio construction. Earlier, he launched and successfully exited one of the first retail cannabis stores in Ontario and served as VP Finance at NoticeConnect, a legal technology company trusted by hundreds of Canadian law firms and ultimately sold to a strategic acquirer. Chris began his career at Tetrem Capital Management, a boutique investment firm in Winnipeg managing public equity value mandates on behalf of CI Financial.
Chris holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University and is a CFA charterholder.
